how bad shoes are made now you int supposed to wear them, just look at them i think. same with handbags not made for use.

This is like my perfect thread. Saving money? Being tight?
I've done that lemon in the kettle thing for ages. It made sense to me as it's natural citric acid. I've even used the said lemon to clean the shower screen afterwards as it quite squishy then.

I have too, but gets on me wick all the ickle lemony bits that stick to the surfaces.......no grease/soap scum....just lemony bits......
Oh. My shower nozzle gets rid of all the debris.

I remember doing a badge in Girl Guides, was it 'Homemakers' or summat and in the 'test' they asked what you would do with a sheet that was threadbare in the middle......i was
well, you'd just chuck it in the bin, but I knew that wasn't the 'right' answer....The correct answer was cut it in the middle and stitch the two other ends together.....like you'd want some scratchy seam in the midlle of your bed
