Yo sprout, I understand that when negative crap is happening in an individuals life it may be difficult to be positive. I mean generally, on the whole if you get my jist
I have a depressive on MSN who I 'speak' to. I try to be positive, but when they put barriers in every way..........it's hard......you know

I don't know how you have the patience. If someone's like that with me then I see it as they're really not interested in helping themselves or trying to feel better, if they really wanted help they'd listen to what you say to them (maybe not initially, but they would within a short space of time), and at least consider different options.

There's a difference between really feeling like you don't want to go on and just wanting attention.

Karma. I've no doubt this guy's genuine, but there's only so much I can take. That's why I have at least three e-mail/contact addys

But it will just drain you though. I don't know the fella, and it's great that you're there to listen to him and if he's really in the shit then I feel for the bloke....but how long could you realistically keep repeating yourself about the course of action you think he should take, or every time you give him a reason why he should he gives you ten reasons why he shouldn't? Initially, it's understandable if he's gone through a bad time, but there has to come a point where he has to start relying on himself to feel better.

I think you have more patience then me

I think I'm finally starting to get through, and if it's one positive thing I can do for someone well.........
