I don't know Pooly, I've thought that myself at times....even though you've never met the people on here, I do feel like I know people...odd aren't we!

not at all the fact that a common interest brought us all together is the main thing , the fact that friendships have developed after is not weird, my mum still writes to a a woman in new zealand that she became pen pals with when she was 11, internet  sites are the modern pen pal system as far as i am concerned

Ah, the wonder of technology, brilliant isn't it....you can always pop on here for a chat, abit of fun and discuss anything really...you need never be completely alone

I just saw the weird word in the title and identified with it

I met up with people on Groupee,  and travelled to Seattle to see them as I was impressed with what they are trying to do. So it's posible to meet up if you really want to.. Reality is different though

If it is weird...then there are rather a lot of us about.. if you include twitter, facebook et al and the umpteen forums.. go and find someone with internet access that is not involved with one, some  or all of these.. I'd be surprised if you did..easily

Although I too identified with the "weird" word in the title!

We all started by discussing BB and stayed, and stayed, and stayed.....yep! We're all weird...out and proud!

I travelled & met up with two of the ladies from the sit...had an absolute ball..& will def be doing it again...hopefully with a few more next time!

It seems a nice place to be, chatting with strangers online is similar to chatting with strangers in a pub. Eventually you can become great friends.

So how do we get to meet each other then, I don't have a car, but I'm sure a bus or train will get me to you.

People do it for lots of different reasons.  I started off just posting on BBGF about BB and it went from there.  I was only going to stay while BB was on, but got to know alot of good, decent people and just stayed.  All these years later, I am still here and still talking to the same people and lots of new people, some I would regard as good mates.

I've met a couple and have spoken to loads on the phone, but have known some people on here for years. You're all bloody mental. The good thing about being online as opposed to being in a pub is if you get in a ruck the worst that can happen is you get banned, as opposed to getting done for GBH

y have said this before but as  FZ suggested, you all help me decorate time.
