I am completely ready, food, presents, decorations, all done. Not by me, I am the great delegator from my chair, but my living room looks lovely and chrismassy. My bestes mate came over today and we had lunch and a tiny wee brandy and exchanged presents. All that's left is Christmas cards for my grandson with lots of cash (he's 19 and saving up for his first year at university) and christmas cards for my neighbours.

Still got the fruit and veg, plus the bird to be delivered, but everything else is either in a cupboard, fridge or freezer.

Presents wrapped, trees dec'd, house festooned to full grot-tastic warp factor tacky, and I know where there's a secret stash of booze

Nice work Cologne

Baz

I'm way behind this year.  Have kids clothes to collect and see if they fit, if not return them and try to find something else.  Have no food shopping done.  Have people to buy to still and presents to wrap.  I also have another trip to the toy shop to do because I don't think I've bought enough.

Birthday party for my eldest tomorrow so can't even get anything done for xmas (shopping wise) tomorrow but at least the OH is taking the boys to the barbers for me so maybe I can get some wrapping done then.

Aahhhhhhh HELP!!!

I'm just hoping the clothes fit and then everything else will get bought when I'm doing my xmas food shopping on Monday.  People will be getting Tesco PJs and bath sets from the Superdrug next door  they can like them or lump them at this stage.

I've sent my OH for wine.  That should help the situation a little.

Aww, you'll get it all done in time.  It's not easy when there's a birthday to celebrate prior to the other main event

You know, it's daft! All this trouble for one day

Oh I dunno (I always do Boxing Day too for the hoards), it gets easier over the years 'cos it's just one big ol' roast dinner really.

That was my thinking this year Sprout.  I said I'm not buying so many toys for the kids, not buying to so-and-so this year and not stressing about how many new outfits the kids have.  Then it got to the start of this week and I panicked.  Ordered most stuff online to collect in store and made a list of things to get all those people that I said I wasn't buying to
