I noticed that yesterday's crossword was a special and I thought that I would save it for tonight. Unfortunately they've just given the game away on Twitter. He is dying. A good innings though.

I am s**t at crosswords, so you can clue me in if you like.
He used one of his crosswords to announce that he had cancer and was receiving palliative care. Many solutions alluded to his treatment.
