Rumour has it he took her away and handed her to a second party.
I know you've hinted at this before, but where are you getting that from, not being argumentative, just asking?

Aye..
I didn't say they don't lie... just that they aren't supposed to
MrD did a law degree... like many of his fellow students he never continued into the legal profession as he came out disillusioned, he'd gone into it thinking it was about justice
That's not the first time I've heard that, Ditty.
It's such a vain, smart arse business nowadays.
That's the legal profession for you - liars from bottom to top

Ooh have i sed that before - didn;t think i had
Erm ... no idea where i heard it, sorry
Its odd that he sed he was responsible but pleaded not guilty.
Sounds like he was an accesory?
Oooh i dunno - genuinely.
If i see it i'll post again
Aimee, as a parent you know yourself to imagine losing a child in that manner must be horrendous, but to never get the answers and to have her back to at least put her to rest must make the torture of it all unbearable.
I don't think I could live if it was me and to know that someone DOES know the answers but is refusing to tell you must be horrendous to live with
Me neither. I know one thing if someone had done something so horrendous to Master C, I would personally want to torture it out of them.
Cosi I agree, that's the way the statement came across. They might as well have thumbed their noses and said 'ner ner ne ner ner'
Me too Cinds
The trial of Mark Bridger has been adjourned till April 29th so the defence can make further inquiries

The defence making further inquiries? Hope the prosecution are doing so too...
There was so much TV coverage at the time, its a worry if they are looking for some "technicality".
He is entitled to a fair trial, as the laws provide, but something stinks somewhere about the whole thing imo.

I agree they did keep saying at the time that they had to be careful what they disclosed
Horrible for her family, that evil bastard won't say where she is.
Horrible for her family, that evil bastard won't say where she is.
Has he even admitted to killing the girl.?

I don't think he has, but for some reason I have it in the back of my head that he admitted knowing something.
Her parents must feel destroyed knowing that they have given up looking for her.
Has he even admitted to killing the girl.?
this is from his last court appearance - his trial starts on the 29th
Mark Bridger, 47, sat in the dock at Mold Crown Court flanked by two security guards as details of the charges were read out.
He clearly replied "not guilty" as five-year-old April's parents stared into the glass-fronted dock.
The judge made an order under the Contempt of Court Act that none of the evidence mentioned should be publicly reported.
But he added that Bridger's barrister's statement that the former lifeguard was "probably responsible" for April's death could be reported.

It sounds like everyone is assuming he's guilty before the trial, and the girls body hasn't been found, if shes even dead.
I wonder what probably responsible means? He's pleaded not guilty to murder but his own barrister says he's 'probably responsible'.
Intriguing and at the same time absolutely dreadful for the family. I just can't imagine what life must be like for them
Perhaps he's implying it was something short of murder like manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter?
Remember the Sowham case where Ian Huntley claimed it was an accident in the bathroom etc.
The poor parents, it only adds to their trauma.
Omg MrsH that's awful What that poor little girl must have suffered at the hands of a monster like that
Poor wee mite,God rest her soul and her poor family.
I know I have had him classed as guilty since arrested but from the little that has come out today he is a monster and needs to rot
now we know what his own barrister means by 'probably responsible'.
He sounds like a monster
Mind you would be difficult to challenge a "doctored" computer I imagine - not specifically in this case.
Her poor, poor parents having to listen to that ..........too horrific for words
And that poor, dear little girl ...........heartbreaking/
It must be torture for April's poor parents.
It must be torture for April's poor parents.
it must be and they've got a few months of it to go
Her poor parents I wish he would tell them where she is
Dear God skull fragments in the fire?
How could he?
That is not concealing - that is sick.
OMG, not a bit of wonder they were convinced they had the right man
Horrific. Poor little soul. I so feel for April,s parents having to listen to that

I take all of that back, hearing the pathetic and weak defence from this Bridger scumbag it's clear that he murdered that poor little girl and dumped her body god knows where.
They should re-open the Tower Of London just for him.

Vids, i dont think anyone was prepared for the things that have came out. I watch Sky News and the reporters are looking horrified when they speak. Its beyond comprehension to normal people.
I have to say though, i so admire the family for their dignity and strength. How on earth they can listen to that, deserves some respect
I agree Sky

I agree about her family, the hell they are going through during this trial, after what they have already been through, I can't get my head around it.
