Hello.

So aside from my filmmaking stuff, I'd thought as a backup I would start looking for jobs (like proper career type ones).  Turns out someone I know has put me in contact with a VERY big company (so big its scary), and have sent me an online application.

The jobs in Germany, which is no bother, I don't have any major ties (apart from a gold one ZING ), so I'm up for the traveling. However the application asks about my last salary, and how much I earned, problem being is that they only have it in EUROS and there's no visible way to change it to POUNDS.  Should I just do a conversion, or state somewhere else on the application that its meant to be POUNDS and not EUROS?

Also it asks how much I expect/want to be paid? I hate these questions as obviously I want to put ÂĢ1000 an hour, but realise that's too damn cheeky. Any suggestions?

Its to be a Tester/localiser for Nintendo of Europe. Translating japanese video games into english and such.

So, basically, you would be playing games and thinking up some words to go with it?

Yeah but the description says i need to be knowledgeable of 'new wave, internet lingo and language'. LOL does mean "Lots of Love" doesn't it?

Rawky! Luv!

Don't do it!

Ask to be paid in pounds or dollars or you're screwed. Standard and Poors have just downgraded the German economy which means the eurozone is in freefall. That doesn't mean it's a bad idea for your career, but what you might earn may be worth so little when converted to the pound in the event of a collapse of the euro.

Cheery soul, ain't I?

I've downgraded myself to minor forum celeb.   I do read here a lot but find thank you for your fandom of, obviously, my celebrity.  For those who don't know I am, in fact, a goddess, don't reply. I have scorpions.

Hello Goddess...........I can't help putting myself in danger..
