Does anyone spend more than 5-10 minutes here? Or am I just rubbish at it?

That's a short period of time for Corin - she has been known to take up to 3 hours to put her make up on then spend another hour doing her nails

With me, it depends on what the occasion is. If it for work then about 10 minutes, but if i am going out in the evening, it can take 30 mins or more.
I am really good at getting ready in 20 mins,, thats shower, hair done the lot!!!

But... but what would you put on for it to take that long

I would love to know what she does..
I could spend 30 mins... if I had all the time in the world.. and I was taking my time, and I was putting mega make up on!
It would have to include false lashes (which I haven't worn for years, on account of them being a right pain in the arse)... in fact... just getting false lashes on reasonably straight and fully attached could probably take me an hour ... but thats cos they always end up coming adrift on me.
or I blink too hard and one end ends up stuck to my eyebrow....
I think I have gone off on a false eyelash tangent

I really cannot think what she does, because even if she applys loads and loads, she does it so often (every day) practice would mean she would have it down to less time. She is taking the mick i tell you.
Josie does look very nice with all her slap on. And her hair down... (OK without it of course, but very nice with it..)

ooh ta! I might have to research that! I use the Max Factor masterpiece once cos I hate clumpy lashes.the only reason I have worn (or tried to wear) false lashes in the past was if they had glitter on them ... or were a mad colour.... there was even feathers involved once...
I don't really go to disco lash events anymore
edited cos I misbranded me mascara!

But how long did it take to put it on?
I only use eye makeup never used foundation it takes me 10 minutes Corin puts on far to much makeup and tops it up quite a lot during the day.. less is best
Even when I used to wear false eyelashes (top and bottom) 35 years ago ................i could still do full make up in 5-7 minutes. 31 minutes (and not even finished) is beyond vain IMO.
I think she looks lovely in her make-up and she has some great clothes.

BOTTOM!!! FALSE BOTTOM LASHES!!! omg!!! not a chance would I be able to deal with them... I'd either glue my eye shut forever... or end up with it halfway down my face mascarading as overgrown nostril hair!!
Yep ..........and i used to wear them to work so it was a real quick make up jobbie.

I think I am pretty good with make up... but false lashes defeat me!

I suppose if I was making a real effort, for a special occasion, I might take up to 15 mins. I'm not really sure what you would do for the rest of the time
Oh and thanks for the mascara tip Issy, last I bought a few weeks ago was an Estee Lauder, pre mascara lash primer/conditioner and a battery operated 'vibrating' mascara that was supposed to do miracles, god knows what I paid for the two, about ÂĢ45 I think and I just get black eyes about an hour after putting it on!!!

Benefit makeup is the BEST ever.
It always works and lasts forever. I love it.
