Well even if you don't, I'm providing it anyway.
My son left to go to Glastonbury on Tuesday, and broke down 30 mins down the road at 5pm. He EVENTUALLY got towed home at 12.30am yesterday. The AA couldn't fix the problem and didn't even know what it was, so him going to Glasto in that car was out of the question.

This meant that he and his mate couldn't get there - his mate doesn't drive.

So, muggins here. rather than the two of them losing almost ÂĢ200 each, said I would drive them down and back yesterday.

Bearing in mind all the problems of Tuesday evening going thro my head and them not getting in until 12.30 and then knowing I had to get up at 4.30 to drive a long way I only got about 2 hours sleep on Tuesday.

Set out at 5am yesterday from East of Lincoln to make the journey down, and apart from travelling about 6 miles in 3 hours as we approached the site, I made it there and back in 18 hours, returning home just before 11 last night. I stopped off at a friend's in Somerset to watch the footie and get5 something to eat, but it was nearly 500 miles round trip.

Only problem is, I have to do the same thing on Monday to fetch them!!

If you're still with me, I have missed BB over all this time - seen the nominations, but that is all
Shabby was nominated but now it appears that Mario is up instead which makes me very angry that she is not going again this week. Did BB do another survival task and she got saved? f so, grrrrrrr.

A quick resume of last 48 hours would be great, thank you.

That's such a lovely thing to do, especially allll that way! I think I'm really lucky in that my mum would probably do the same for me as well. Although...we do only live about an hour or two away.

And the six miles in three hours thing I can understand. Last year when 'we' all went some of my friends drove all the way to the site rather than the collection field and they were just frozen in traffic for about three or four hours.

How did you get that from my post? I might have done it...if my kids were old enough, genuinely stuck and grateful about it

OK Suzy - I said "everyone" but didn't really mean everyone - I was just a bit emotional this morning - overtired I guess. Thanks for the nice comments too -  I was being a bit "Shabby" this morning.
