The bods who give you the viewing figures for programmes. As in 1.2 million watched Corrie and 1.4 million watched Enders ('cept not in THIS house   yada yada. We have an extra remote and we log ourselves in whenever we watch - me, son and daughter. My only worry is son watching late night porn and logging in with my name (only late night porn of course, daytime porn is OK  .

Aww, I remember the nights of watching late night soft porn films on Channel 5.  They were so unbelievably mild but I would always have the volume right down and my finger on the off switch of the remote, in case my Mum walked in

Well I didn't get up to anything filthy, that would be far too risky. Besides most of the time I had my ear to the speaker of the t.v, as it was so quiet, because I wanted to know what the storylines were about

Nothing against the cause Soozy, I just find the show quite embarrassing and old fashioned, same with Children in Need.

I donate a bit of money, but I don't watch.

Yeah right.

Always makes me think of the Rob Newman gag about having a quick one in his bedroom as a teenager with his headphones on and coming round (as it were) to find his mum had left a hot cup of tea by the side of his bed.

Soooooooozy
The sentiment behind it is totally admirable but honestly - do we really need Celebs making fools of themselves & constant goading into making us all feel guilty ??
I for one would give my last thruppence to anyone that needed it more than I - but I soooo hate this kind of programme! sowwy

I donate on a monthly basis to Oxfam (i fully accept that a percentage goes to admin costs) maybe people have become bored with it all but the suffering goes on - every other year with comic relief we get a reminder and maybe people who wouldn't ever think about donating give a few bob. It really does make a difference.
