we have chocolate treat in the cupboard some of the kids like it on chopped bananas with carnation milk and sugar strands but for maple its best to use the real canadian stuff not a maple flavour sauce.

i'd forgotten that, it was like a snow covered peak in chocolate but that was the cap.
did you ever use it to make your own choc ices? if i remember i did and it wasnt good, too much chocolate meant that when you took a bite the shell shattered and the icecream tended to squash in all directions.
i remember just eating it i used to pour it and let it harden then just eat it. or pick the little bits off the ice cream. remember the cap matched the flavour? brown for caramel, orange for choc orange etc.

I've tried the strawberry flavour and didn't like it.
I wondered if the raspberry flavour was anything like the one you get from the ice cream vans but haven't been able to find it anywhere.

in the interests of reserch i went to tesco today and bought some chocolate cracking stuff. I then went home and scoffed a large bowl of it i have to say it was good but not great! and no ice magic
