Obviously it would have been nice to have it for this series of Big Brother, however in many respects I am pleased there is none.  I can do without the late nights I impose on myself watching silent housemates overdubbed by tweeting birds until the early hours.  I imagine Channel 5 will probably introduce some type of Live Streaming for 2012 after having more time to sort things out.

Looking forward to the launch tomorrow.  I can't believe it's back on TV again.

Well.. I'm going to try to watch and accept it for what it is now, but I can't think of it as Big Brother any more without live feed.   I didn't watch that much of it, but I liked being able to switch it on as and when I felt like it and to be able to keep watching if things were kicking off (with grateful nod to the lutters who kept us updated)

Can you imagine how different (and much poorer a show) it would have been without live feed during -

Picture gate

Spitting gate

Fight Night

Craig's relentless stalking of Anfonee

Anfonee and Makowsi in the pool

Michelle's relentless stalking of Stu

Kinga's party piece

Anfonee losing the plot with Craig 'hoying' the beer at him

Brian and Charley's argument when she was in the clown costume

the list goes on... scenarios that took place over the space of hours, condensed into a 1 or 2 minute scene in a highlights show?

I'd be lying if i said I wasnt' disappointed.

Won't stop me watching tomorrow night though.

 I'm just glad it's back!

While the lack of live feed is disappointing, I'm intrigued by all the other opportunities to keep up.  I'm off on holiday next week and other years when I've been away I've relied on texts from anyone who could be cajoled into sending them (  my fondness for BB is unique amongst my F&F) This time I'm hopeful that I'll be able to stay in the loop

Well, it has to be filmed 24/7 in order for them to select the highlights, so hopefully that will leak onto the internet and someone will point us in the right direction. I don't usually watch live feed, but I do rely on FMs who do to keep me up to date.

Of course, HMs might just turn up for an hour a day and act out a script, so they won't need to film 24/7.

Oh, I don't know - keep the faith people, it will be interesting to see how C5 handle it and how it all pans out

That'll be my fault. I bought my grand sons a new sooper dooper paddling pool yesterday as it was on offer. Sorry folks but that usually heralds the end of summer.

What Kaffy said. .

plus you miss all the lead up to what causes the tensions and that was often twisted in just the HL shows to make it appear to be something else when it fact it could have been brewing for days over something totally unrelated to what they showed on HL's..

it really is just going to be just another reality show to fill an hour that happens to have the same name as one we all knew as BB..

I'm a lot older now as well from when BB first started and the market is aimed at the even younger audience than it was originally and well my tastes have matured a lot so even if there was LF I don't think I could watch teens/young 20's  24/7 without a bit of maturer fun in there as well. .  I can watch TOWIE as I am not having to watch them for too long. .24/7 of that type would be horrendous..
