There seem to be a lot of mixed reviews, Aimee. I'd get her to research the organisation really well before signing up.

I haven't been or know anyone that's volunteered abroad.

I don't know anything about that company.

I sometimes don't know who I am.

Did your daughter ever apply for Operation Raleigh? I knew a girl who did that, she said it was amazing and of course, its extremely legitimate!!! It was quite hard to get onto it as I remember. Your daughter with all her achievments sounds like the type of gal who'd be accepted on to it.

I endorse everthing roger said. My daughter went with Raleigh International to Costa Rica and Nicaragua 12 years ago. It's the best established organisation apart from VSO.

I had a Raleigh Chopper when i was a kid (once owned by my brother)

There's no way it could get to Costa Rica - so well done to one and all.

Anyway, I thought Costa Rica was a coffee shop !!
