I know there are a few BB's on a Road called Brigstock Road(Thornton Heath)which isn't too far from Croydon. you can take a 250, 109, 198, straight to the Shopping centre where the HMV is situated.

Check on the Transport for London website, some buses run on a 24hr service. Other than that camping outside might be a better option.
there is a travelodge on the Wellesley Road.. which is just a short walk from North End..
