They will probably do a presentation on what your course is about, then they'll give you a one to one interview where you'll have to present your national record of achievement with your exam certificates etc in. Well that's what I had to do anyways and that was only 3 or 4 years ago.

Suppose it depends what you're doing really. Obviously if you're doing something where you don't need a massive amount of intelligence then it might be different.

Yeah wear a suit with a tie, definately! Thumbs Up Ninja

Yeah I have, you don't have to wear suit and tie etc you can wear normal clothes if you want to. They just go through what the course is about, the Colleges procedures, getting you to enrol and basically giving you information about what the College can do for you and what the student services is about. Nothing to worry about at all. Oh and you have to bring your certificates and qualifications with you.

Bubbles just be yourself. I have done college interviews in the past you can wear your own clothes and your course tutor just asks you questions about why you want to do your course. And your tutor tells you more about the course your doing. It will be ok. Good luck Bubbles Big Grin

I'm taking that as a serious question, so here's a serious answer:

I recently signed-up for a college course, and the enrolment form included the question "Do you have a 'relevant' criminal conviction?"

The covering notes read:
"'Relevant' means offences against a person, whether violent or sexual, and offences involving drugs or controlled substances, or theft. A 'yes' answer does not automatically exclude your enrolment."

I got to have another interview before September for the next level of my course, although they sort it all out and don't have to worry plus we are moving to a brand new campus Laugh.

Bubbles, if you're being serious, I'd suggest dressing smart casual - nothing over the top - it's not a job interview. Just be natural (but respectful) and let your passion shine through. Demonstrate passion and ability and the place is yours!

As regards the criminal conviction - I take it you would have had to have disclosed this on your application form so the fact that you have an interview would say, in my view, that that isn't a problem. I can't say for certain, but I can't imagine that they would want to discuss this at interview. They just want to assess your passion and potential.

Good luck! You'll be fine. Thumbs Up

Yes, the enrolment form would be the one your mum filled-in. They may well ask you about the form at the interview, so it's best to be prepared. I doubt it would be a show-stopper, or they wouldn't have asked you in for interview in the first place.
