I usually use the brushes you sometimes get when you dye your hair - they get into all the nooks and crannies

Also just to add, i'm a bit scared of taking all they keys off as i messed up the old one doing that!

I was told a small artists brush or a make up brush, though Pengy's idea sounds great.

You can get mini vacuum cleaners specially for keyboards.

Fabienne, where do you get them from? Are they expensive? If so i'll stick to the brush

Aw Cinds so cute!!!  When I was a school cleaner, many moons ago, we had Henry's they were brilliant!!  Little Hetty looks great but I don't know if I can run to a tenner! I'll have to stick to the brush!!

Oh crap!!  As I was brushing ive lost the top and bottom of the screen!! The top comes back if i put the curser at the top of the screen but then goes when i move it.

Duchess it's probably better to clean when you haven't got the pooter on otherwise they have a tendency to go all haywire

My top tip...

DON'T use the stair crevice nozzle attached to your Dyson......   it kinda removes the keys!     (I have one keyless laptop that will vouch for this)

I agree with the brush thing.    Or that overpriced can of air stuff you can buy!   One of them disposable dusters that attracts dirt is quite good too..... folded so you can stick the corner into all the nooks and crannies!

We use a paintbrush to loosen any dirt & then the normal vaccum to suck it all out!

Have a look on ebay for cheaper vacuums.

Hairdryers are so versatile, I also use mine to warm the bed up when it's really cold.

I do use the hairdryer to speed up the annual defrosting of the freezer ritual (done when I have just got in from doing my xmas food shop, and it is rapidly defrosting on my kitchen floor)

Better a grumpy cat than a grumpy duck with no lunch.

Me too!   And a great big knife for a bit of gratuitous hacking.

Mr Cinds does that to me, after we have warmed the bed up with the hairdryer.

    Yeah.....   though I deny this ... as its one of Mr Ditty's often rolled out bits of advice.... don't use a knife you'll break the freezer!
