Anyone going anywhere nice or planning something a little different for Easter? I'm not but you lot are usually off on some jolly or doing something I like the sound of. The weather here is gorgeous (19 degrees) and the kids are off school but my OH's car is in the garage so no trips to the beach or far afield for me. Will have to google and see what else is available round here.

We've been doing stuff all week so this weekend we are relaxing. Might take a picnic to the park but nothing special

On Easter Sunday we'll do the traditional boiling of the eggs, painting of the eggs, and rolling of the eggs right doon a big hill!

Triggs - I remember doing that when the kids were little. This is the first year ever that we aren't buying them Eggs - I will miss the old traditions

Bit like a Christmas dinner - turkey, gammon, sausages, stuffing, bacon, ooooodles of veg,
pudding is caramelised oranges, brownies, orange drizzle pudding, Eton Mess with redcurrants and raspberries.
And after all that is on the table I shall have a large glass of fizz

Sorry I forgot about this thread.....was making party food all evening *groan* I'm having the inlaws over tonight for drinks. Probably way too many drinks and not getting rid of them til at least 3am but should be fun.

Well, i have some little people visiting and today i took them into a deep dark woods but they followed a trail of tiny breadcrumbs back to my house 
now they are planning on killing me with easter drinking and chocolate 
I just ate some crunchy nut cornflakes. I didn't finish them. The experience was not the thrill I'd anticipated.
Some of my grandchildren are coming up tomorrow, we are having an egg painting competition and then on Sunday they will all be rolled doon the hill as we do every year

Had a great chilled day yesterday -much wine and Pimms was drunk. My daughter and her BF are down to spend Easter with us..
Going to a food fair today then a little bit of shopping, then coming back to more Pimms and might crack open the champagne I was given when I moved into the house..
I had my grandsons from 8.30 yesterday morning until 8.30 pm. We went to the park, played Tell Me , watched Toy Story 2 then had lunch - in the afternoon we made Easter Cards and place settings from some kits that I bought then I produced the new DVD I'd bought 'Incredible Me' - it went down well.
Did loads of other stuff - number 1 grandson stayed over and stayed up late and is still in his bed snoozing

A quiet day today and all the family for lunch tomorrow - I considered a BBQ but ..........it's gonna be Roast Turkey and Pork which we may eat in the garden!
