That's what I'm doing with French

What sites are you using? are they any good? Mt French lessons folded last year - i could do with taking it up again.

On Youtube I use this one http://www.youtube.com/user/Yo...French?feature=watch as it has loads of videos.

Or you can just type in french lessons and then choose what particular aspect you want to learn or practice.

The BBC have a free programme of lessons. Once you sign up, they email you every week with a new lesson. They are really good although I have fallen well behind because of lack of time but it doesn't matter as you can set your own pace

My favourite site is probably www.JeFrench.com They have quite a few free lessons but I did sign up for the course which was less thna 20 quid with the exchange rate. Ouino also do a great course.

I wouldn't advise anyone wanting to learn a language to touch Rosetta Stone with a bargepole. Very very bad programme.

You can also try Usborne quicklinks for worksheets and various websites that offer free French stuff

Thanks for that Veggie - I'll give some of them a go. Have you got the Michel Thomas CD's? they're very good too.
