just read this about him elsewhere.
David's reaction last night really made us smile here. Both Grandad and I remember him as the loud, over friendly guy on Goldenballs - who said to the poor, trusting woman he was playing against , "You don't have to worry about me Luv I couldn't steal from anyone, I'm completely honest, me"
Subsequently she revealed the Split ball and David with a broad grin on his face revealed the Steal ball. His opponent was visibly upset and angry, with a broad grin on his face David said a very insincere "Sorry Luv" and admitted his intention had always been to steal. Can't remember the exact amount but he walked off with several Grand.
Although I often get mad and angry with Stealers on Goldenballs, I realise it is a Gameshow, as is BB. David going on about morals last night and how he had trusted Bea and thought she had completely betrayed him, was completely hypocritical, when he , in a very public forum has shown he too has no scruples.
Don't get me wrong this is not a defence of Bea - can't stand her, but when I read threads about how upset David was that he was lied to, so he had a right to feel betrayed etc etc I just felt this may be a timely reminder - I wish one of the HMs had remembered it and dropped in a comment.
We could never have voted David for the win, knowing what he can be like, but to actually act so hurt by it and playing the victim - come on David there must be others like us who have long memories.
IS THIS TRUE ?
OMG! Did that really happen? David!!!
