We have two Cole Tits that visit our garden.
The dog didn't kill it, did it?

Is that a starter for ten?

Coal tits and Barbary doves are the only ones that have stayed still long enough for a positive identification - so far.

Coal because of its black cap - black as coal.

They are seed eaters, hence their large bills. If you grow thistles and even forget me nots and let them seed you can attract bullfinches.

These obviously are decended from escaped pet/aviary birds, there's controversy about culling them as they are not a native species etc.I don't know if they harmful to our native wildlife or not.
