I'm getting a new kitchen next week and instead of leaping up and down, I'm rigid with fear. I have to relocate to my daughter's house who has no toilet downstairs, so I will need a commode. I have to use a facemask at night to push out carbon dioxide, so I'm worried about connecting that, my cats only know peace and quiet and will be subjected to horrendous noise for days.

Can the cats not be boarded Col.
I can understand your anxiety.

I will keep telling myself.
So sorry Cologne, that upheaval must be very stressful when you're in poor health.
Hope they do a quick job.
Cologne i think you should try to think of it as an adventure, I know it's hard, but think of how happy your daughter is feeling knowing she is going to be able to see you 24/7 for a few days and know you're ok... she is probably looking forward to cooking your favourite foods etc and generally spending time with you
Try to enjoy it and I'm sure even if you cant get excited, once you're there and know the mask etc is plumbed in ok you will enjoy the time with the family
