I am a little concerned about the number of people signing every petition.
No, hear me out before shooting me down, please. If people from all websites sign every petition C4 COULD argue that its not a huge amount of people signing, rather it is the same people signing different ones and therefore not bother!

dobby this is a straight onsite poll no petition, its just to gauge feeling on that site only but obviously if feeling is strong then it will encourage them to publicise it more.

But that'a just it, every time a new petition appears, FM's post it and then en-mass we all go and sign ir. Or are we assuming C4 are not reading all the forums? Sorry, but of course they are.

Voted - the point is, C4 are claiming there is no demand for live feed, and that we all prefer their hand-picked clips of what THEY think we should want to watch.
BB fans are proving otherwise - only BB fans would bother going to these sites and polls, and hardly any of them are agreeing with C4's stance.

I have just voted even though i myself don't usually watch it, i used to be able to keep up with what was going on because other people like the forumers had been watching it. Its such a struggle this year to feel in touch with it all.

thats exactly why its so important, its not the number of viewers its the effect that those who do view it have on almost everyones enjoyment of the show because of the buzz they generate.
its a fine example of "word of mouth" advertising and now that has gone we are seeing the results in the collapse in viewing figures.

I don't understand Ch 4's reasoning that it's a cost cutting measure. They surely received a bit of revenue from the people who bought internet streaming. They surely get some advertisers while it's on E4, and they would probably get more voting revenue.
