Annoying 'phone calls!

For the last month we have been getting an 'International' call from someone. Real pain in the arse, sometimes they talk sometimes they just put the 'phone down, upto 6 times per day. Last night at 10.30 it rang again, we have caller ID so knew it was them. The guy started gabbling about something I couldn't understand, I have already pleaded with them to take us off their list but to no avail. Got so fed up, I told the guy to wait while I find a pen, found my rape alarm and set it off down the 'phone!! when I checked after he'd gone

I get a lot of those. I just put the phone down and check back in 5 mins or so

I also have phone ID so I can tell if its international or not. Mosy of the international ones I get are recorded messages telling me I have won a cruise in the Caribbean. Some times they are from foreign investment places (probably these bolier houses) and my advice to anyone getting one of those calls is to ignore it. However if the person ringing you is using Skype (which is based in Luxembourg), this will show up as International even though they are ringing you from the UK.
