On Have I Got News For You. Jesus! I watched it again last night! What a pompous, overbearing pillock she is. Here's a thought Anne don't don't challenge Paul Merton to a verbal joust.

I did not see the program but I have seen her doing other stuff on telly and thought she was really funny

Here's a snippet of her arguing with Ian.
Ian; Anne, you could do him the courtesy of listening to him.
Anne; Why would I want to listen to a wrong answer??
Ian; You were in the tory party most of your life.
lol I am not a Tory supporter so I can laugh at that but I do quite like her she is as straight as a dyequote:Originally posted by shirehorse:quote:Originally posted by Marguerita:

I can't abide her politics but I rather like her as a meeja type. I think our culture is sadly lacking in the deluded battleaxe stakes.
Even though I am the Forum Gentleman Marxist, it is my opinion that we need more characters like Anne in parliament, rather than the clone like type we have been inflicted with over the last few years.
I absolutely LOVE Widders!!! She is a no nonsense old school stalwart and should have been the new speaker IMO.
She never ceases to make me laugh with her ways, she reminds me of a lot of the women that were around when I was a kid. Women that were indeed once the backbone of this great isle of ours
Hurrah for Widders!

If anyone finds a sense of humour could they please return it to Anne Widdecombe.

Agreed, she's a one-off, stands no nonsense, we could do with her in the House (of Commons) not BB, although come to think of it she could sort Lisa out good and proper.

I denounce you as a bourgeois revisionist with this counter-revolutionary propaganda

The local centre for pig iron production has a five year plan involving an increase in production of recycled goods on the High Street. Just the other day I was able to purchase a previously loved Gerald Seymour book for a couple of

Such are the benefits of the glorious revolution, providing redistribution of wealth and social justice for all workers
