Ok, you know my feelings on Cave but 'clicks' anyway. Will give it a chance

Yep that's brilliant. The Weeping Song is fantastic too (more mainstream) if you dare click on it

I did - It almost had me reaching for the paracetamol

Would think anyone listening to that type of tune a lot may be construed as a bit of a Grumpy git

Pop goes fatalistic- Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumours

I've never seen this video until tonight, but vaguely remember some fuss about it around the same time.

I must say, it's a bit harder than I would have expected, even for a song musing on God, death and suicide.  As an advisory warning, it's subject matter will be a sensitive to some. I couldn't imagine a guitar indie band never mind a pretty boy pop band daring to release a song of such subject matter these days.

Can you imagine the furore if that was released now? They released some great material over the years, went from being a 'pretty boy pop band' to a serious band with something to say. Though I loved their earlier poppy stuff too.
