Today:
Most of the UK will have a pleasant, dry day with variable cloud and some sunshine. Occasional and mainly light showers however are likely across northeastern parts of Scotland and northern England.

Tonight:
Dry with often large amounts of cloud together with some clear spells. Feeling rather cool with light and variable winds.

Friday:
Becoming generally more unsettled everywhere with a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers could become heavy at times and merge into longer spells of rain.
