yay for cut lawns

we're just back from the beach, kids had a great time rock pooling and me and o/h did fossil hunting.

Am jealous shep .. sounds like a fab time... which bit of coast?

saltburn on the cleveland coast zaph. from there down to whitby and beyond is ripe for amonites and other weird ex-creatures.

I have had a most excellent day out and have managed to burn my shoulders again Bloody kids wouldnt let me go up the hill to see the hill fort tho the lazy buggers.


Slightly marred by a horrible crash on the way home that must have happened a few minutes before we got there...a car pulling a caravan was upside down and it was on a dual carriageway and facing the wrong way so gods know what happened Just hope the people are ok.

I was a bit disconcerted to see a rat mind....I know they say you are never more than a few feet away from one but a RAT, round here

Hiya childres, I'm still ill, although made a piccy for Fluffy, and have to work out how to get it moving as it's supposed to move, but after Friday and what it did to my health, taking things easier, but I believe it's hot out, and maybe one day I'll be in the sun again. Must be nice by the seaside, and must be lovely to just walk from your home to the short distance to the beach and have a day there, making sand castles and whateva. So all you healthy bods, think of us the ill people who are stuck indoors.

Hi Anglesea and can't think of one for you though Zaphy, maybe Zaphy Beach. That museum sounds great Angel, and know you're going to enjoy it. We got a museum too, and used to be in the Council offices but hear it's elsewhere, and sorry it isn't near us, but there you are, as neither is the seaside near us. You can't have everything I suppose.

I burned my back a bit yesterday...which is what I get for getting my daughter to put the sun cream on....you can see exactly where she put it It hurt last night but it's ok this morning but may affect my choice of outfit.

I am ok everywhere else was just coz I was wearing a top that showed more back than I had before...if you know what I mean, unexposed. I dont usually go red but this bit of me hadnt been out for a long time

Yes museum day (tho Lindow man isnt there till August). I hope it wont be too busy coz most of the schools have gone back.
