There are a couple of help threads Florrie....from what I recall on Thrash you find a smilie, you right click and select the Copy Image URL and then you use the [IMG] [/IMG] to post it.
Although one time I posted one and instead of the smilie there was a picture of Jesus holding a message saying STEALING BANDWIDTH MAKES JESUS CRY
