We had a great time and ran about 3/4 of it...we kept having to stop due to other people walking and not being able to get past...then my daughter got a stitch

After spending most of the race waiting for her at the end she sprinted off and beat me

But then she had to come running back because I got interviewed by the fella from the local radio station when I crossed the line (even tho I could hardly speak )

We were the only people in fancy dress (unless you count pink tutus and wigs and wings) so we got a lot more encouragement and clapping (and comments ) and of course I got interviewed at the end as a result

Net year tho I am running it properly and not wearing a stupid great hat

Oh and it didnt rain

I was regretting the hat at the start, it was really warm

My toes hurt and my legs are a bit achey at the mo but I am sure half an hours lazing about will sort that out
