Well I'm sending positive thoughts your way hon Hug

I had 8 months of chemo and managed to drive there and back, but it was only twenty minutes away. I also didn't have the full strength of chemo, so obviously I wasn't as yukky with it. Best advice I was given...take diet coke in with you and a good book! It takes the taste away in your mouth and the day passes quicker with a book that keeps you absorbed Smiler They used to switch the teles on for us too so we didn't have to pay Big Grin

Hi Apricot wavey

Hi Pepsi...is there such a thing as a hospital car? Really amazed that there is one at all. I couldn't get a car to get me to the surgery one time! It went something like this: Surgery Receptionist wanted me to visit them and I was far too unwell to get there, so asked for a car, but they don't have such a thing. She asked if I knew someone who could drive me and told her no, hub was at work. She then asked me if I could drive and I said no, I don't drive, which stunned her as *everyone* drives is the assumption. She asked if we had a car and I told her yes but hub is the driver. She was really stumped and asked if a neighbour could drive me...my then neighbours were at work and not all of them had cars. She then asked if family could drive, and told her don't have any family....and at this point she was really struggling, and I was fed up about all this stuff. They wanted me to be at the surgery at a certain time but I couldn't get there, and couldn't get a taxi either, as none were available. If you want a taxi, you have to hire one a day in advance. There's a huge gap between the surgery wants and what's reality. Frowner I don't deal with them any more. Smiler xxx

Good luck with it all and that journey in itself without the treatment sounds a nightmare Hug

Morning people, want to ask you a couple of questions, please?

What's the difference between Groupee member and the other one? Why are some fms Groupee members, and some not?

I think I was a Groupee Member with C4 BB forums, and as I had no idea what it meant, then never asked anyone, but I see that there are 2 types here.

Should I have registered as a Groupee Member? As I didn't do that you think I should re-register?

I'd ask Rosemary but don't know where to find her.

Thanks wavey
