Hi apricot...I dunno about that, it's a bit grim to be honest...it's about a burial site containing the remains of African slaves.

Yeah, can understand that being grim. In a way reminds me of those Mountain mummies, of sacrificed children, and in perfect preservation. You could see how terrified they had been too. I saved that program at the time, as well as watching it. In a way it was good to see them, as we got to know what had happened in the past to people, especially kids who had litte rights. Also felt very sad for them. Frowner

You'll do well in that essay, tell it how it was, as you can't do anything else but that. Nod Thumbs Up Hug

you had a good bank holiday? we've had a wet day at kielder, i'm bitten by the camping bug now aqnd we're reckying out good campsites.

Hi shep, we did go out yesterday late afternoon and it was freezing, but the sunset was beautiful. Nod Going away for weekends is a better idea, and wish we had, as shopping is too wearing. My MIL went to Cornwall and she has 2 days of sun and rest was rain. I'm hoping to go tenting one day, as the tent and equipment we bought last year( I think) hasn't seen a camp site so far. Laugh

Is Kielder anywhere near the Dam? Are you in the States? Think I'll have to pad over to Tatty as my Profile isn't workiong either Ninja Hug
