Rain and showers will gradually die out, but it will turn misty with patchy fog. Rain will spread into the far southwest later.

Friday:

Rain will spread across Northern Ireland, Wales and the Southwest. Further north and east it should be dry and bright after the clearance of patchy overnight fog.

Cloud and outbreaks of rain will gradually spread across Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England during daylight hours. Ahead of the rain it will be dry, apart for early showers across eastern England, with patchy cloud and sunny spells.

Tonight:

The cloud and rain will continue east across Scotland and the rest of England, the rain turning occasionally heavy. Broken cloud will follow to western areas, along with scattered showers.

Saturday:

Rain will persist across northeast Scotland, while showers clear from southeast England and rain exits from northeast England. Elsewhere dry and bright. Later rain will spread northeast across western areas.
