Showers in north. Cloudy, rain in places in the south.

Today:

Cloudy across Wales and much of England, with a little rain at times, especially in the west. Generally brighter further north and east, with these brighter skies spreading southwards during the afternoon. Showers in the north, especially northern Scotland.

Tonight:

A few showers near some eastern coasts, otherwise a fine and rather cold night for most areas, with frost developing in some rural parts. Becoming cloudier in the far northwest.

Monday:

A few showers in the east, mainly over Norfolk, otherwise many areas dry and sunny. Increasing cloud over much of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring a little rain later.

I think I will sit quietly in a corner while you all figure this place out 
I keep popping back only to find you all still trying to sort out the latest changes

Last time I was here I left thinking It's like trying to post on My Space, twitter Face Book and a Forum all at once.

I have joined all of the above at some time just to see how they work, I think I gave up on My Space after only a few weeks

I lasted longer on Face Book but haven't been back for Months

Cant see the point of twitter and only visit if someone Points out something of interest,

  Slinks off into corner of thread and hides

Hi Sossy.... I feel much the same as you about these parts, but I am persevering...... *slowly*  lol..   The record I think Zaph is talking about is no posts at all on here yesterday, apart from Zaph's first and last one...       to anyone else dropping by.... and   for Zaph      xx

I obviously dont have as much to contribute as I see many others do, so I sometimes feel a bit lost and out of the loop...  but I will always be grateful for the welcome and being made to feel some part of this community and I am grateful for that...

Headline:

Southern parts dry with sunny spells. Patchy rain further north.

Today:

Any early fog patches across Wales and central and southern England will have dispersed by mid-morning to leave a dry day with sunny spells. Further north it will be cloudier with occasional rain, especially across northwestern Scotland.

Tonight:

The south will be dry with variable cloud and patchy mist and fog. The north will be cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle, especially in northwestern Scotland.

Wednesday:

Cloudy in most areas with occasional rain in places, especially across northern England. Best chance of sunny intervals will be found in southwestern England, southern Wales and northeastern Scotland.

Most places cloudy and there will be a little rain or drizzle in parts of southern Scotland and northern and eastern England. A little sunshine will break through locally but there will be some early fog patches in the west.

Tonight:

Generally rather cloudy. Most places will remain dry but there will be patchy light rain and drizzle in the north. Mist and fog patches will form in places.

Thursday:

Most places will be cloudy and there will be a little light rain or drizzle at times in northern and central areas. A few sunny intervals will also develop locally.

Most parts will have a cloudy night with a little rain in places. However, dry and clearer weather will spread into the north of Scotland later.

Friday:

Scotland will be dry with sunny spells. Elsewhere it will start cloudy with a little rain in places, but brighter weather will gradually spread southwards across all but the southwest.

Today:

Starting mild, overcast, misty with occasional hill fog and drizzle across much of England and Wales. Dry, cooler and bright conditions already across Scotland will extend south, reaching everywhere except Devon and Cornwall by dusk. Becoming breezy across eastern England.

Tonight:

Cloud and patchy drizzle across Devon and Cornwall will clear away, leaving everywhere dry with largely clear skies. However patchy cloud will feed across eastern England. Further west becoming chilly.

Saturday:

Eastern parts of England and Scotland will have patchy cloud and sunny intervals. Elsewhere dry and mostly cloud free, although later cloud and light rain will reach the Western Isles.

Headline:

Mostly dry with sunny periods. Overnight chilly, with some frost.

Today:

Isolated light showers will drift across East Anglia and Kent. Elsewhere will be dry. Many places will have a chilly start, but then long sunny periods, although central and eastern England, and the far northwest of Scotland will be cloudier.

Tonight:

Cloud will increase across Northern Ireland and Scotland, bringing rain to northwest Scotland later. Remaining areas will be mostly dry, and largely clear, leading to localised frost in rural locations.

Sunday:

A band of cloud and rain will move southeastwards to reach northern England and western Wales late afternoon. Mostly dry weather and fine weather either side of the rain.
