Your weather for today....
Currently 6šC
Headline:
Rain spreading east and turning heavy in places.
Today:
Many places starting dry, with the clearest and so chilly conditions across central and eastern England. However cloud and rain already across the far west will continue to spread east, bringing some occasionally heavy rain. Northern Ireland becoming dry later.
Tonight:
The rain, locally heavy, across Scotland, England and Wales will mainly clear away eastwards. This will leave most places dry with clear spells, just isolated light showers in the west.
Saturday:
Scattered showers for northern Scotland, some heavy. Elsewhere predominantly dry, with sunny spells and only isolated light showers. However southwest England will be cloudier, with perhaps some patchy light rain.

Sorry, I don't know you very well... but I am curious. We have sheep near us... and I witness the horney looking rams get put in with the unexpecting (ha!) girlies each year.
How do you know that the boy has got round to seeing to all the girls?
It all looks a bit random (i.e. those that run slowest get the horns, so to speak)
Ditty .. this is shep..... shep.. Ditty... there ... introductions done

Edit : Yep .. it is called 'Raddle'

Thank you Z...
I don't feel like some strange bird that is asking someone about sheep nuptials out of the blue now!
Oooh... that just leads to more and more questions!
See Ickle & I had this debate.. earlier in the year as all the lambs were being born... and eventally there were 7 or 8 sheep segregated... awaiting their babies to be born... as time went on it became obvious they weren't going to have a baby.
Which led us onto.... do you think they mass pregnancy test them? As I said, we've seen the ram in the field (my god he is a scary looking thing... he is not keen on eye contact... ).... and it all looked a bit hit n miss.
(sorry Fluff... nothing to do with you I promise)

I did not know tupping was the proper word for it between sheep. I love the verb 'to tupp'
