Very windy with gales or severe gales in the north.

Today:

A very windy day in northern Britain with gales or severe gales across much of Scotland and northern England. Light rain will spread south across Wales and central areas. Blustery showers further north, some prolonged showers across northern Scotland.

Tonight:

Rain gradually clearing from southern England, but showers persisting across Scotland. Mostly dry and clear elsewhere, although scattered showers in and around Cheshire. Very strong winds in northeast gradually easing.

Sunday:

A locally cold start. Scattered showers in the northwest and one or two through the Cheshire gap, generally dry with sunny spells elsewhere. Much lighter winds.

Generally dry and bright becoming unsettled.

Today:

A locally chilly start. Scattered showers in the northwest with a few showers also in other western parts. Generally dry with sunny spells elsewhere. Much lighter winds.

Tonight:

Dry overnight with variable cloud and some prolonged clear spells. It will be cold enough for localised grass frosts and a low risk of localised air frosts in the north.

Monday:

Mostly fine and sunny on Monday, although rain in the southwest will move gradually move north. Some of this rain could be heavy overnight.

As is always the case. When I have a computer problem, I call on the help of Zaph or Olly.

Helpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!

I'm having problems with me webcam on MSN.
When I try to talk to me mate up norf. I accept an invitation to talk on the cam. Loading begins and then.....the session has ended or some such message comes up when infact neither of us has ended the session

Any ideas Zaph or Olly or indeedy anyone???

Central and northern parts mostly fine, some sunshine at times. A scattering of showers continuing in parts of the northwest, some more persistent rain in the far northwest later. Southern areas mostly cloudy, outbreaks of rain, heavy in places later.

Tonight:

Rain in the south, heavy at times, moving north across Wales and the Midlands into northern England later. Another area of rain moving southeast across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Tuesday:

Outbreaks of rain likely in all parts, persistent and heavy at times, along with strengthening winds. Drier and brighter conditions moving southeast across Scotland and Northern Ireland in the afternoon.

I used to love msn to chat with friends Zaph....... but most people i had on there dont use it anymore....I only keep is as Ive got the email addy from there set up at a few places...  whenever Ive changed ISP, Ive always had msn as a back up for email....why dont you use it Zaph, is it that you dont like it, or that you just dont bother with the chat part?...
