Anyway....AS I WAS SAYING!,,,
Got to work at 8:30 already peckish so thought I'd have a rolland sausage at morning tea-break, but missed breakfast by about 5 minutes - ho-hum!
Saw that 'today's home made soup' would be scotch broth and cream of chicken, so reckoned I could hang on a bit and go for an early bowl of chicken soup (don't like scotch broth). So there I am, barely 12 o'clock, wanders up to the soup tureen in time to see them taking it away again. It's too salty apparently!
(Do they not check their cooking before they put it out for the unsuspecting public?)
That's me now with no breakfast AND no lunch!!!!

I mooch around a bit and finally settle for a roll and ham, it was ok I guess, but tasted mothing like chicken.

i want to quote your post olly but i really can't be arsed  (christ! even the smileys are a hassle if they don't happen to be in the window) but i'm the same, the thought of trailing round dozens of blogs and walls and such to say hello to people doesn't appeal to me. i look in now and again but don't post much at all. the party always seems to be happening somewhere else...

hi all BTW, where's di these days? still away in the 'van?

I have to get the dog towels out too, have a doggy guest again this weekend, the lovely slobbering Boxer known as Scooby-doo is staying over for a few days from this evening, out of the way whilst his daddy digs up their living room floor to make way for a lovely oak one he is doing...   Love having Scoobs, such lovely company, just stinks every evening from about 7pm..

hello all! glad you had a great time di, it's not the caravan bed that's set your sciatica off is it?

a friend of mine had a boxer that had something wrong with it's lower jaw so it stuck out further than usual, you've never seen anything like it in your life, talk about a face only a mother could love  it was cute in a weird kind of way though.

weather apart, we can't go away this weekend cos mr.shep has to replace the starter motor on the landy. *sad face*
