Your Bank Holiday weather for today...

Currently 17ºC

Headline:
Rain over the northwest. Drier elsewhere with some sunshine.

Today:
Scotland, Northern Ireland, NW England and West Wales cloudy with rain heavy at times especially over western upslopes. Elsewhere, mainly cloudy at first but largely dry. Becoming warm and sunny in the south and east.

Tonight:
Heavy rain over the north and west moving east and becoming lighter. Clearer weather following though with blustery showers in the west.

Tuesday:
Central and eastern areas starting the day generally dry and bright but blustery showers over the west will extend quickly east and become heavy with local hail and thunder.

I dunno...it's blowing a gale and a bit grey and there is a home match tonight and I dont know where to go or what to do anyway

I came online to look at English Heritage but there dont seem to be any events.

Dont really want to have to spend any large amount of time in the car....some milk got spilled in it on the way home from holidays and despite being set about by bicarbonate of soda and vinegar and various air fresheners it still stinks.

Yuk.. not the best of smells to get shot of... in the carpet or the upholstery?

I like bank holidays as I know I am going nowhere too much coast traffic to get caught up in and all the caravans coming back from the weekend

I have the joys of the council dump again soon... yet more boxes for things I don't even still have.. found my very first laptop packaging yesterday..must be over 10 years ago now... I think I hoard too much

I had something similar and eventually attacked it with neutradol powder, left a few hours and thoroughly hoovered it up and have never smelt it again ...... I didnt know what mine was, couldnt see anything and just had the smell

Hi Zaph

dont get me going on the hoarding , two years ago I had to pack the entire house up for structural repairs - all but one room and everything got sorted and dumped - leaving a few essentials the loft and outer buildings never got done and my god - they are a nightmare - noone can have a worse hoarder than I have and now son has taken to doing it as well
I dread the day we sell and move but what a relief it will be to get rid of it all

well we went to the outlaws in scotland on saturday, but did diy jobs round the house sunday and today.
