What happenned to my birthday card then..did it get lost in the post

It should have arrived on the Thursday .. the same day that package with the battery to mains converter did.. I sent it separately but post them both at the same time..

Maybe because it was obviously a Birthday Card type envelope and I had written something on the back about not to open til the 20th it got pinched in case there was money in it or something

Happened to me before with my sister when I sent her an M&S voucher for her birthday last year

we get a terrible post holiday comedown, it's squabble and bicker for 3 days solid afterwards.

i rarely remember to send birthday cards, but when i do i always shove them in a brown envelope, thieving postie gits

I've worked out that when my Yahoo Messenger crashes.. as it does a bit lately.. IE7 has also crashed... Yahoo uses bits of IE7.. hmm I feel a google coming....

I do not have enough space for all my books


I have (somehow) managed to get all 87 archaeology and related books into the same place (am sure I have more books somewhere as well) but now I have all these random books and no where to keep them....I've sorted some to donate to work and some to donate to charity....and some will have to go to the bin.

I decided on holiday in the shower that when we got home I was going to clear this house of shite....starting with sorting out the book problem. It isnt going very well...I hate throwing them out.

Always hard to throw out books... I guess some are past their usefulness?

Most of them are....I have loads of teaching books that I can donate to work...some I borrowed form my old place so will have to try and get the stickers off
