Hello all wavey

The avi I use here at Gaga (48x48) was blurred over at LC. Zaphod advised that I resize it to 50x50px I think.

I’m currently using a “master” avi which is 190 x 193px – I haven’t got round to resizing it – can’t be bothered.

– my master.

Over at LC they use the avi you upload at 3 different sizes depending on which area you are in.

These are:

100x100px, 70x70px and 50x50px

When you view your buddies at eg LiveCloud / Baby Bunny / Buddies their avi’s are scaled to 100x100px and most look blurred.

So, best to use a larger avi as a master as scaling down is always better than scaling up. Since my master avi is larger than the largest scaling that LC uses it looks OK.

Hope this helps!

Zaph, correct me if I’m wrong. Big Grin

Crying I made an effort to make myself clear as well Big Grin

If you want an in-focus rather than blurred avi you could post a larger version of your avi and I could resize it to a LiveCloud-friendly size for you and post it back.

Oh Angel ... I did a 'view source' on the helicopters website to look at the html code..

this line..

onclick="alert('There are no dates in the system at this time\n\nPlease check back later')"

means that whatever you put in that voucher box when you press submit you will always get that message...

I have emailed them telling them so Mad and asked for a refund

Smiler I thought you would but I didn't want to say "ask Zaphod" - sounded a bit like passing the buck.

It's maybe quite telling that there is nothing in the official brochures etc about helicopter tours and I havent seen any helicopters apart from the rescue one since we been here.

Well going by the 'fix' on their website none of their flight timetables exist.. I have copied the html page just in case Big Grin

That JavaScript alert msg could have been created on the fly based on details (dates) in a database.

OK - that's enough of me sticking me beak in!! Big Grin

No prob Bunny Big Grin

I didn't post the whole section... basically the HTML lets you enter up to 8 alpha character string (with 'echo') and once submit is pressed there is no code to go fetch from a database or anything it just sends out that message

btw put avatar to 100x100 now looks ok
