I agree with both Olly's and Zaphod's comments about the new place. Hope it improves.

What with being forum stalwarts can't you throw your weight around a bit?

I would like it to be noted that right now I am more grumpy than Olly. I know it's difficult to believe but it happens to be true.

I will express my current crabbiness in picture format:

It's a sort of Facebook type thingy that they're moving us to (I think) but Z knows more than me.

Anyway let me bore you with holiday stuff...

The journey was good and uneventful, ferry trip good....the house is fanastic, it's massive, short walk down the loch, Maes Howe is no more then 400 metres away, the stones are a bit further but can see them from the windows. It's peaceful and beautiful...I love it!

Excellent ... am so pleased given how long you have wanted to go to Orkney I hope you have a really fabulous time
