I don't get this LiveCloud thingy.. .are this and the other Gaga forums still going to be like they are and if so why do we have to join the LiveCloud thingy?
I know Dave did a thread but am too lazy to read it all and knowing Zaph he'll be up on what's what and will have a simpler version of what is going on for us
the forum design/colours in that other place is awful btw...

I had to sign up for the other place it wouldn't take my login details from here... tho the login for here is via LiveCloud and that worked ok.. in the end. .
it's all a bit confusing. .suppose I'll go read the thread anyway ..have just finished my overnight catch up of the BB stuff now.. .just hope they keep the design of this and the other forums the same.. am not really interested in any of the stuff that LiveCloud place has to offer .. got enough places to go that I can;t keep up with without adding even more

Steve said in the sticky that the format when we move will be similar to the feedback section over there now. .which is absolute rubbish to navigate around... the threads seem to have only one page.. there is no back to the top or forum navigation bars at the bottom so you have to scroll to the top to get out of a thread. .no clicking on the last post stuff to jump into the thread where you want to.. nowt... it's horrid horrid horrid...
and the music thing seems to have about 6 songs in a scroll bar and that's all.. and they are rubbish too.. unless there is more and I just cant; find em..
am not a happy bunny at all... am in full on moany bint mode..
am off to have a huge sulk for a bit....
well am really off to eat me lunch and watch last nights LF but don't tell anybody

I have been playing around in there.. can't really criticise if I don't try it... and the forum structure is just plain awful... more gimmicks at the expense of a clear and sensible structure. It is no more than an ersatz Facebook with a forum applications stuck on the side. I am already on facebook... just how many friends do they think I have
Oh and it has several bugs that should have been fixed before going live.. really simple ones... like GETTING AN ERROR EVERYTIME YOU POST .. I would have thought that might just be up there with the top 10 things to test for a forum.. er... can I post on this forum [Yes/No] delete where applicable

I've been playing around on there too Zaph... apart from the non working anything over there the music place is rubbish too I can't find anything that will play. .plus like you say tis FB and Yahoo groups rolled into one with a forum tagged on. .. but at least my spell check works on both of those..
and I belong to both those already and am a group owner on Yahoo. . I don't understand why this place couldn't be left as is in the current format with the current hosts.. if we wanted something different from the old GBBF forums we'd have already gone elsewhere...
we could maybe go back to the old stopping off point at Eve Community support forum
