awww, i hope you don't feel like you're missing out
it's a lovely summer evening up here. everone's got there windows wide for the first time in about a month. i can hear nextdoors parrot shouting at the dogs
Typical rural scene then.. enraged parrot .. it is 19ΒΊC here with 74% relative humidity and 1007millibars pressure... but still a bit overcast and generally rubbish

you lost me after the word 'with' actually we've got one of those boxes that clip onto the cable that runs into the leccy meter and the reciever box has humidity on and it's...60% right now which is high for here.quote:Originally posted by Zaphod:

i've always wanted to get mr.shep a barometer; he can't walk past one without tapping it; but i wouldn't know what constitutes a good one.
If I want to tap mine... I have to walk down the end of the garden.. it is a small temperature/humidity/pressure sensor that transmits back to a display in my room... I have a UV sensor as well but that hardly gets used

where do you get those? it'd be right up his street in the absence of a big fancy oak effort.
If I said Maplin... would you be surprised?

One of the main manufacturers of this stuff is Orgeon Scientific
get thee to

specifically http://www.ukweathershop.co.uk...n_scientific_ws.html
not all of them do pressure though so you need to read the specs

Outbreaks of heavy and locally thundery rain in central and eastern England will gradually move away, but remaining cloudy and damp here. Mostly dry with clear spells in the west.
