Tonight:
A further spell of locally heavy rain will spread northeastwards from central southern England and into some eastern areas overnight. Dry with clear spells elsewhere. Showers in the north-west.

Thursday:
A largely dry day with sunny spells for many areas, although showers continuing in the north-west. Becoming very warm in the south-east with a risk of a heavy shower later.
