It's not as far north as Cragside Shep....it's not long after Ponteland.

we're gonna go to cragside if we get another good day this week, if it's on the way we might call in. it's not national trust by any chance is it? we're members and i like to wring our moneys worth out of the cards.

It's really nice but it's massive and better to go for the day.

If you do call in and havent got long, do the drive and go round to the Labyrinth coz that is really cool

They arent all mad of plastic, the ones I am eying up are make of some sort of faux suede.

last time we were at cragside was spring so it'll be great to see the labrynth in full bloom.

as for shoes it's getting harder to tell the difference between plaggy and leather. we got sprog some really nice rocket dog efforts and didn't realise they weren't leather till we got home.

Oh sorry, now Belsay is English Heritage.


Wallington is National Trust, thats sort of in the same vicinity.

we pass wallington ever time we go up the 68 to the inlaws. o/h always wants to crack on with the journey though so it's still on our to do list.

It's nice, there is a house with some weird curios in it...the walled garden is lovely, theres a nice woods walk and a big advenutre playground.
