I probably told you once.. years ago when I was at school .. doing the lights for a school play I managed to get a huge shock from some faulty dimmer slider thing that sent me flying.. came round to find someone, Chemistry master I think, doing CPR... well the chest compression bit.... phew.... not that I needed it...developed a very healthy respect for the mains since then ......

Oh the worst bit was being given hot sweet tea for the shock... I hate tea Laugh

ello again y'all wavey

I figured out why my grumps were bad today. .have had a non stop storm going on all morning .. tis really dark here too.. AND my kettle has decided to leak. .. . it could have leaked a few days earlier then i could have got a replacement with my shopping this week. . not due to do another shop for a few weeks now Mad

on the plus side I smiled a bit today going thru the baby pics thread earlier.. Big Grin

the kettle will do for now. . it's not pouring out in floods yet, just leaking out of the window bit that shows the water level. . and not reaching the electrical outlet yet.. I tried super glue to block the hole, wherever it is, but it didn't work. . stupid hard water area, the limescale breaks all kettles eventually..

I do have a back up kettle but it burns your hands when pouring after it's boiled. . tis a bad design so stays hidden in my cupboard until it is really needed. . saucepan boiled water tastes funny.. . . Nod
