Hurrah the weekend is here...and even though I have spent the majority of it writing an essay I am rather pleased to be free of work.

Parcel arrived Mr N. It was left with an old lady neighbour who put 3 notes through the door to say she had it. The deliverer had also left a card. I could hardly get the door open for paperwork

The Prime things always come by courier

I am having a bit of a skive and a coffee and then school run so I will try and do an hours work when we are all back in.

I am building a new office chair... my old one was in such a terrible state due to the attentions of one of my ex-cats .... I had to test a few to make sure I could lean back and put my feet on a desk at the office supplies place.... in fact it was a branch of Staples.. full of all the things you covet

I managed to pull the back off mine today at work when trying to adjust it

I have a new one in the dining room, my daughter has acquired the big blue one.

After all that searching for a non-leather one with arms there was one in Ikea the last time we went. Have to keep a throw on it for the cats though, they'd have it in bits.

This is a fabric one too... not that I have a particular aversion to leather but they are not great in hot sticky weather...

I hate leather chairs....I will avoid sitting on one if at all possible.

I am not (yet) as bad as Leccy's vegan friend who used to ask for a towel to sit on on the leather sofa


But I'd rather not plonk down on one..
