Too hot for gardening or ironing, so I thought I'd catch up with you lot.

Did I see Angel mention the Hoppings? That brought back memories - we always used to go after exams and have a great time - I remember rows and rows of fortune tellers but I never ventured in to any of them.

I'm fine. I've turned 3 compost heaps this week - I worked from 8 til 9.30 each morning before it got too hot, so I'm feeling very righteous

The garden's looking good, lots of lilies (my passion) coming out, so I've got my fingers crossed that the weather stays fine for next Saturday when we're having a barbecue party. Last time we had one the heavens opened and we ended up all sitting under the carport - where I'd shoved all the rubbish from the garden when I tidied up

This time I'm going to tidy up the carport as well

Thanks, that's what I'm telling myself - but actually there's lots of things I ought to be doing in the house. Although it's an outside party you can't stop people coming in to the house and the way it is now they'll all think we live in a pigsty

Google analytics is scary - absolutely fascinating to learn all about the people who are looking at your website, but horrifying when you think of the tables being turned and what people know about you when you visit them
