Very, very quiet. Which suited me as I have been out of it with flu for the last week or so (and I mean flu NOT a cold!!) It must be the most alcohol free Christmas since I was last pregnant! No festive dinner as I simply couild not have done it, instead I acquired a selection of party buffet whatnots from Tesco and the kids have been eating those.
Today is the first day I have felt more normal than not for a while. And I have cupboards still full of booze and some presents still to buy ... but the sales are on so those I've not bought for may get more than they would have otherwise.
I had a new coffee maker from my son and daughter treated me to a lovely pedicure last night as her gift, oh and I had a pair of pillows and three pants from my parents. They don't do gifts very well.
Still loads of snow here as we had a good two feet of the stuff last weekend and its not got above freezing since...

Kids don't really mind if they don't have the full traditional dinner - they like to graze anyway. I may well look at the sales at some point as well

That little boy - Liam Nelson's son is a smashing actor.
Yaaaaaaaay! I've got the DVD but it's one of those films that whenever it's on the tele I HAVE to watch it.
The Bodyguard's on at 11.15 on ITV2, I'll catch what's left of that on +1 when LA's finished. (I saw The Bodyguard 3 days ago but one can never have enough Kevin Costner in one's eyeline)

Absolutely manic! But very enjoyable - I love having all the family together under one roof. My mums flooded bungalow has cast a tiny bit of a damper (pardon the pun) on the Christmas experience but all in all it's been good and very happy!
Have got through it unscathed. Not a big believer in Christmas, but more of a new year fan. Loved Xmas as a youngster but over the years the focus of Xmas seems to have changed. Not really anything to look forward to in the New Year with this lot in Gov't.

It went something like this ...
Wake up> drink > eat> drink > take a snack and a drink to bed to watch telly > get up and open another bottle of wine that we decided we couldn't do again another night on the trot to drink in bed > Sleep.
...and repeat
bliss. although tonight we might even go out a bit later
blow away some cobwebs and dance the night away. Im child free and got a stone to boogie off.
