I think this is one of the most overused words at the moment, along with 'incredible'.

I happened to be watching This Morning, the section where some young airhead provides us with some tabloid style celebrity news items. Well, she announced that they had the new Elton John single as an exclusive then promptly cued the video.

This video snippet shows a couple of people floating onto the roof of a bungalow. The music was best described as bland, forgettable and typical late period Elton. To be fair, it it were free I doubt many would download it.

Cutting back to the studio she then described it as arty before moving on to the next item. Arty !!!! I'm still laughing at that one, I will be sending her the film Eraserhead along with a Coil album.

To sum up, there was nothing remotely 'amazing' about the song or video.

Very few things are actually 'awesome' but Americans use it like a preposition.

Must admit I use 'epic' and 'hectic' quite a lot

EC, my take on it is that it's a tweet BY Sheridan saying she's sad that she won't be able to see HIM (whoever he is) get a special award. The hands symbolise congratulations, the heart symbolises growing admiration.
