I have a dream of one day walking the whole Coast of Cornwall...but I expect that would take months...
Its funny you should mention that...a couple of years ago my brother in law and my oldest boy walked the North Coast, camping on the way...well from about Newquay to Hayle and then met us at our caravan site...which you must have passed on your walk....its where the set of wooden steps you passed lead to...

The next year same brother in law and 2nd son did the South Coast from St Austell but we had to pick them up cos son twisted his ankle somewhere near Coverack I think it was.

please tell me you had a Tyringham Arms?

There's a few caravan sites along the way...I'm guessing St Ives Bay, I seem to remember that's the only one that has wooden steps.

I didn't; I try to avoid pubs since I stopped drinking.
Although I did have to go into the Bishop & Wolf in Hugh Town, when we were stranded overnight on St Mary's...but only for a meal...

yep St Ives Bay....its a great base for that end of Cornwall and just a hop down the dunes to the beach.

the Tyringham Arms is a old school house converted into a pub/restaurant (though more restaurant than pub) that does the best carveries ever....and the rest of the menu ain't bad either.

We usually eat there about 5/6 times in a 2 week period we're down there.

I may have to go and start a Cornwall blog and put some of the better pics up.

The top pic from your garden is a view to die for, Squiggle. I bet it's hard work but what a reward.
The garden is actually laid down to shrubs so not a lot of work, we have a local gardener comes in once a fortnight for 4 hours.  And a lot of beautiful stuff self seeds itself, the Canterbury Bells on the steps did that, just blew in. Amazing.

its a place called Blairgowrie in Australia. There is a jump rock to the left & its considered to be one of the top ten water jumps in australia. If you have Google Earth you can see more.
We once had a holiday in Blairgowrie in Scotland, near Pitlochry which is also beautiful, in a completely different way to your picture, which is gorgeous by the way.
